EIFER seeks a master student for an internship position (m/f/d) with the title
Advanced Modelling of Low Temperature Electrolysers.

Start: 15.03.2026
Duration: max. 6 months (compulsory internship)
Weekly working hours: 39.5
Remuneration: 610€ monthly

Responsibilities

  • Modelling of low temperature electrolysers.
  • Study how model parameters influence system behavior and how uncertainties propagate through the models.
  • Data assimilation tools such as ADAO and Bayesian approaches for parameter estimation and uncertainty analysis may also be explored.
  • Develop well calibrated and trustworthy models of low temperature electrolysers suitable for performance analysis and design studies.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled as a University student
    Mandatory study subjects: Hydrogen Technologies.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Interest in energy research and sustainability.
  • Proficiency in the Python and Modelica languages.
